UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)

SDG 4: Access to education

By providing free access to the internet and online educational content, we’re giving children the resources they need to improve literacy and educational outcomes. Direct financial and practical support for schools ensures education is available to some of the most vulnerable children.

SDG 5: Gender equality

The expansion of our network, especially in rural areas, allows women to access the services they need for financial independence, increasing security for their families. And within our operations, we are committed to creating a culture where all employees, regardless of gender, can develop their skills and progress their careers to achieve their full potential.

We’re providing data and mobile money services to our customers driving entrepreneurial opportunities in our markets that are essential for economic growth. Through our own operations, we recruit locally, whenever possible, providing local people with rewarding employment and development opportunities.
