Our customers discover the world of online shopping with Airtel Money Mastercard. Now they can shop on any website without the need of having a credit card – they can get a virtual card to shop online which is linked directly to their Airtel Money wallet.

Connecting schools to the internet in the Republic of the Congo

We are transforming learning experiences for children by connecting schools to the internet and providing free access to online educational resources. Protecting rhinos in Kenya

Putting out technology to good use is an important part of our strategy. In Kenya, we do this through Project Ngulia which is helping to address the tragic loss of the country's black rhinos to poaching. With our 3G voice and data technology, the Kenya Wildlife Service is able to better monitor and protect the rhinos.

Kibera youth centre in Nairobi

Supporting the Kibera youth centre is a recent project aimed at providing children with access to online education. In 2022, we have converted the ground floor into an IT classroom, complete with 12 computers, which is used for online training as well as cyber cafe. Airtel Africa’s employees actively contribute to the teaching activities at the centre.

Higher, Faster, Stronger!

In March 2023, Airtel Africa held the Group leadership conclave in Dubai which was attended by 250 senior executives and leaders from 14 OpCos. A plenary session was also dedicated to our sustainability strategy and vision. The conclave was highly immersive, and all teams had an opportunity to engage with the senior leadership of the organisation as well as the Chair in person.
